Romanian Connection

Shady Grove supports Stepping Forward Ministries and American missionaries Steve and Cami Mather who work with orphaned and abandoned children in Bucharest, Romania. Support for Romania has included:

  • Purchasing Christmas gifts for the children of the St. Ana Orphanage.
  • Three previous building construction teams have helped to build Camp Living Water located in the Carpathian Mountains.
  • Funds have been donated to help send children to camp.

Operation Christmas Child

Samaritan’s Purse sends gift-filled Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to children in need around the world together with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Rise Against Hunger helps underserved people worldwide achieve food security and resilience through nutrition, education and economic empowerment, fueled by a global movement of volunteers and partners. Shady Grove partners with Rise Against Hunger each year in a meal packing event that is fun and meaningful for all ages.
