Senior Trip to Yorktown

Please join Shady Grove's Seniors for a day trip to the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown on Tuesday, July 28th. We will leave the church at 8 a.m. During the morning, we will tour the museum with an introductory film, a guided tour, and free time to explore other exhibits, including “Give Me Liberty,” the VA250 Special Exhibition. We will then depart the museum for a short drive for lunch at Rocco’s Smokehouse Grill in Williamsburg before returning to the church around 4 p.m. The cost of this trip will be $30 per person, which covers entrance to the museum and transportation. Payment for the trip may be given to Cindy Buchanan in the church office or placed in offering plates on Sundays clearly marked for Yorktown. Please make checks payable to Shady Grove UMC.
