2023 Annual Conference Report from Tom Clark, SGUMC Lay Leader to the Annual Conference
During the period of June 15-17, I was privileged to represent Shady Grove at the 2024 Virginia United Methodist Church Annual Conference in Roanoke. Bishop Sue Haupert-Johnson presided with the theme of “United as One in Mission.” The bishop is new to Virginia and is an excellent communicator with a kind, confident and compassionate personality.
