Youth CROSS Missions Trip
July 16 - 21, 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
In Shady Grove Youth Ministries, we have fun while we grow, learn and serve together. We are dedicated to creating a safe space for teens and pre-teens, grades 6-12, to encounter the radical love of Jesus Christ and learn what it means to be a disciple. All are welcome. Our ministry offers a range of ministries with youth, as well as ways to connect within the life of the congregation. Whether it’s youth group, youth choir, the praise band, a small group, a retreat, or a mission trip, we strive to offer opportunities that give youth a chance to use their passions and gifts to serve Christ and others, and to grow deeper in their relationship with God.
If you are interested in getting involved with Youth Ministries at Shady Grove as a youth or volunteer, please contact Aubrey Hill using the button below.

Cappella, open to singers in grades 6 – 12, focuses on teaching growing and changing voices to sing skillfully and in harmony. They participate in worship regularly, are an important component in the Christmas and Spring concerts, and have the opportunity to participate in Youth Jam (a regional festival for church youth choirs).

4G is an opportunity for young musicians (grades 6-12) to praise God with contemporary Christian music while learning to play in a group. 4G provides the musical portion of worship leadership for Youth Group on Sunday evenings. There are also opportunities to lead portions of Sunday morning worship about once per quarter, and other special events such as Youth Sunday, the yearly block party, and other opportunities. Rehearsals take place in the Youth Room (G217) on Sunday afternoons from 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Contact Eric Chappell below for more information about 4G.
