Youth Small GroupsWhile CROSSFIRE provides youth a wonderful place to begin their connection with Christ and the community of faith, it is important that youth, like all Christian disciples, be connected with an on-going small group experience. These groups provide a more intimate environment in which participants can discuss and wrestle with issues of faith. Shady Grove provides a large variety of small group opportunities for youth.:
Session #1, 9:30 a.m.
The Middle School Class meets in Room G-218
Youth will participate in discussion about the sermon teaching and scriptures shared during the worship service.
Once a month, they will participate in the ever-popular game of Bible Jeopardy. The High School Class meets in Room G-217 (Youth Center) The goal of this class is to present and support the foundational beliefs that compromise the Christian Worldview. We do so by answering the five basic questions of live (origin, purpose, identity, morals, and destiny) and by looking a contemporary newsworthy topics through the paradigm of Biblical reason. Session #2, 11:00 a.m.
