Disciples In Action (DIA)

Saturday, June 8 -- Disciples In Action Partners with Moments of Hope Outreach and Next Step Christian Church with their weekly Saturday afternoon dinner. Each week this group feeds a hot meal to approximately 250 to 300 friends in need. If you would like to help setup, serve meals, hold Bible study or handout canned goods and fresh fruit from the mobile pantry, then we could use your help!! Please plan to meet at 12:30 p.m. on June 8 in the Welcome Center lobby. From there, we will carpool over to the old Brookhill Shopping Center. Meal setup begins at 1 p.m. and the opening prayer and serving starts at 2 p.m. and will last until about 3:30ish. We will be ready to pack the trucks and be back at church no later than 4:30 p.m. For questions or if you would like to assist, please contact Vicki Underwood by email at vickiunder84@gmail.com.
