Wednesday Night at The Grove

Wednesday Night at the Grove, our midweek meal and small group opportunity is on break for the summer.
With the restrictions surrounding COVID-19, we are not sure what the fall will look like yet, but we are making plans for when we can make a safe return. 
Dinner Cost: $8 for adults, $3 for children. Cash, check, or card accepted. 

Small Groups

Children's Classes
Infants - Preschool 3 --  Room G102 (Nursery) led by Kyle Hammond
Preschool 4 - Grade 5   -- Room G218 led by Barbara Shipley
Youth Classes
Middle & High School Group -- Room G213 (Youth Center) Led by George Gretes and Dwayne Stinson
The spring 2020 study will focus on Jesus's parables. All youth, grades 6-12, are welcome. Dinner begins at 5:00 p.m. and the study will meet in G213 at 6:00 p.m. 
Adult Classes
Women of the Bible: Who are they? Who are you?
A Women’s Group Led by Jo Kelchner -- Class participants will study different women of the Bible for six weeks. No class books are needed. This group meets in Room G113.
Bible Buds, Women's Group ~ Everything You Need, this study by David Jeremiah will focus on 2 Peter 1:3-9. Participants will learn that God has given us the tools to withstand the stresses of life and overcome the challenges we face. Come for a few classes or come for all. Meet other women who enjoy growing in faith and getting to know their sisters in Christ. For questions, please call Jane Gillette at (804)389-2862.  Room G111
Study on the Apocrypha 
Everyone is welcome to attend this group led by Rev. Mary Sue Swann. This study will help you explore the unique background, history, and traditions of the books between the Testaments. This group meets in Room G114 (The Senior Center). 
Parents of Teens and Young Adults (others welcome!) ~ Parents of teens, young adults, and children are invited to come share their experiences together in a small group. The conversation focuses on specific challenges that parents face, and involves sharing of best practices, reflecting on how to build faith in your children, teens, and young adults,  and on supporting and praying for one another. Youth Room G217
