Raising Teens in an Almost Christian World
Teacher/Facilitator:  Dwayne Stinson    6:00 p.m.  Room E206 (Chapel)
When it comes to faith, parents have the largest influence on their children and teens—far more than the church, the youth group, or their peers. This 8-week study based on Raising Teens in an Almost Christian World by Dietrich Kirk, will introduce parents to some of the major struggles youth and young adults face. Each session includes research, a Bible passage, and some reflection questions and opportunities to explore practical approaches to parenting. While designed for parents of teens, it is helpful for all parents. For parents of younger children, it offers a head start to begin to practice parenting that may make a difference for your children as they become teens.
