Volunteer Opportunities

Be the Church Day!
On April 24th, we are coming together to worship, serve, and BE THE CHURCH! Instead of regular worship, we will have one short service at 9:30, and then go out into the world and be witnesses to God's love in various service projects around the community. Then we will come back, share a light lunch, and share our experiences from our day!
For more information, read here.
Or to sign up for a project, go here.
Audio Visual Needs
We are in need of volunteer help in the audio-visual ministry during worship, especially with running the cameras during the 9:45 and 11:15 worship services. Maybe you enjoy capturing moments with your personal camera, or maybe you’re computer savvy. We need your help! Contact Bryan Greer for additional information.

Nurture Needs
The Nurture Committee is in need of volunteers to serve coffee during Coffee Fellowship.  The schedule will be very flexible. Please email Sally Arbogast to sign up.
Witness Needs
1. Greeter Coordinator: we are seeking a person from each worship service to oversee equipping and scheduling of greeters prior to their specific worship service.
2. Greeters: we are seeking individuals to serve as greeters at each worship service.
Greeters stand at the door of the Welcome Center about 3o minutes prior to the beginning of their service to welcome everyone to Shady Grove.  You will also help direct people to the sanctuary, nursery, and restrooms.  A friendly disposition and warm smile are a must!
Please email to sign up or for additional details.
