Youth Ministry at Shady Grove

Shady Grove’s youth ministries are the primary medium through which our mission and vision statements are expressed with youth, grades 6 through 12 and their families. Shady Grove’s youth ministry is not a social club or a "youth fellowship.” While there are events and opportunities offered exclusively to youth, we strive to help young people to connect with the community of faith in a genuine way. It is not our goal to have a successful youth group; rather, it is to successfully invite youth to a relationship with Jesus Christ and to include youth into the body of Christ.

Youth Small Groups

While CROSSFIRE provides youth a wonderful place to begin their connection with Christ and the community of faith, it is important that youth, like all Christian disciples, be connected with an on-going small group experience. These groups provide a more intimate environment in which participants can discuss and wrestle with issues of faith. Shady Grove provides a large variety of small group opportunities for youth.:
