Shady Grove United Methodist Men

Our Mission Statement: "The mission of Shady Grove Methodist Men is to make disciples of Jesus Christ by encouraging and assisting men to know Him, to serve Him, and to do His will daily."  

The Shady Grove Methodist Men is open to all men of the church. Regular dinner meetings and programs usually take place on the third Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM at Church between September and May.

During October and March the UMM makes and sells Brunswick Stew in coordination with the UMW's bazaar and yard sales.   Reservations may be made with any UMM member at church or calling the church office. It's the most delicious Stew in Hanover County, thanks to Gordon Johnson, Stew Master. Net proceeds from the Stew go toward mission and outreach programs and Church projects.  

Special Christmas and Valentines Banquets are held each December and February when the wives are invited to join us. These are very special occasions with music provided.
